In recent months, Hatz has introduced a cornucopia of new maintenance services and products. What they all have in common is that they facilitate maintenance on the engine, optimise service and thus extend the engine's service life. For this reason, these services and offers will carry the fitting name of Hatz Lifetime.

Work in Hatz-certified workshops and service centres is becoming more digital – as is everyday life for machine operators. In light of this, Hatz is set to offer a central platform for all service-relevant processes with the Digital Service Portal (DSP).
Everything at a glance
This includes information on the engines registered in the DSP, information on the warranty period, maintenance intervals and schedules as well as data sheets or additional resources for the Hatz diagnostic tool HDS2. Online repair tutorials and e-learning content are also available for registered users in the DSP.
These Academy videos offer a step-by-step guide through the various maintenance and repair topics of Hatz engines. The videos are put together by experts from the Hatz service team and highlight the eventualities and specifics that can arise during maintenance.
Engine diagnostics with smartphone or tablet
Hatz has recently developed an especially user-friendly diagnostic tool in the form of HDS2lite. The engine is wirelessly connected to a smartphone or tablet via a Bluetooth adapter. The free HDS smartphone app makes it even easier and more convenient to carry out diagnostics on electronically controlled engines from Hatz.
Clear display of engine operating data
The Hatz Smart Panel (HSP) offers a user-friendly way to visualise engine operating data on the machine. The compact display unit is easy and straightforward to operate and allows fast analysis of the machine and engine condition.
The HSP is available as an OEM component or also as a retrofit solution. The display is freely configurable, enabling the arrangement and wealth of information to be individually adapted to the customer's requirements. In addition, there is the possibility of further individualisation: sensor values, functions, colours and logos can be customised and displayed.
Warranty extension for maximum service life
With the Protect+ Warranty, Hatz allows you to extend the statutory warranty to up to 60 months or 3000 operating hours for air-cooled engines and 5000 for the H series. After the authorised service partner has carried out the maintenance, the warranty is extended by a further 12 months.
The mandatory maintenance and the digital service book ensure maximum reliability and service life for the engines. Over the long term, the proven original service increases the resale value of machines with drives from Hatz and Protect+ Warranty.
